Launchpad
Launchpad is a fictional coffee company.
This is the final logo decided on for the Launchpad brand. This reflects that of a coffee cup with classical colors while displaying the brand mark of L and P.
As I went navigated through these sketches I was able to pull from previous ideas to create new ideas.
There were two iterations from the sketches that were the strongest for keeping in relation to the narrative. From there it was based on peer critique.
Rainy Day Toys
Rainy Day Toys is a fictional toy company.
Fun for kids and calming for parents but appealing to both. The logo started out from aspect of the brand offering certain products. After realizing that a logo of a book or toy were not as effective in relating back to the brand but rather to make it memorable along with the name and the idea. Therefore the logo relays the message of happiness, calmness, fun, peace, and laughter.
Expedia Life Award
This award started as the You Make a Difference award and later became the Leaders and Innovators Fearlessly Excelling (LIFE) award. There was no branding linked to this global award within the Expedia POAR organization.
The idea behind this logo development was to have a logo that reflected the global aspect of this organization as well as show how the winner of the award made an impact. The idea was that the compass would reflect the directions of growth and how individuals in the organization had the opportunity to lead true north with the developments and everyday impacts they were making within the organization.
